This deck was planned to be built differently. We started with just replacing the top boards but ended up having to rip down the entire deck and rebuild it. The wood boards were literally just breaking apart and since our clients daughter wanted her mom to have a deck where she doesn’t have as many step downs, the only reasonable thing was to remove the entire deck which was 2 decks at 16x16 just different heights. With that, we ended up having to get a permit which threw our schedule off by a good week and a half. As you can see, it was all worth it and the deck is ready to be used. Our client is excited that she doesn’t have to stain it anymore, nor watch where she and her dog 🐕 are stepping.
